Download the form and hand it in at the Reference Desk

What is Tech Buddies?

If you’re a teen with technology skills and would like to share your knowledge and tutor adults, then join Tech Buddies today.  Tech Buddies tutor adults who wish to learn or better use their iPads, cell phones, and basic computer skills.

Who can volunteer?

A Tech Buddy is a student in grades 8 through 12 who is interested in volunteering to teach basic technology skills.

Why should I?

It is a great idea for community service projects.

When can I sign up?

Tech Buddies runs twice a year, in the spring and the fall.

What do I have to do to sign up?

You will have to fill out a Tech Buddies application either at the Reference Desk, or online when the YA newsletter announces that Tech Buddies is beginning.
All new Tech Buddies are required to attend a training session.
