Description

This program delves into the lucrative world of art crime, relating some of the fascinating stories of lost, stolen and forged art. Linda will explain how art pieces are scientifically authenticated, the significance of provenance and much more. Both successful and unsuccessful forgeries and thefts will be discussed.
 
Linda Maria Frank, is a retired teacher of science and forensic science. She resides on Long Island and is currently writing the Annie Tillery Mysteries. She produces The Writer’s Dream, her local access TV show, seen on YouTube. Frank is active in LI Authors Group, LI Sisters in Crime, LI Children’s Writers and Illustrators, and Mystery Writers of America.
