Epic Abstraction with Professor Thomas Germano

This visual lecture relates to the exhibition Epic Abstraction at the Metropolitan Museum of Art ongoing through 2019. The lecture, like the exhibit, explores large-scale abstract paintings and sculptures from the museum’s permanent collection and special loans. The works of Jackson Pollock, Franz Kline, Louise Nevelson, Mark Rothko, Willem de Kooning, Joan Mitchell and Barnett Newman will be among those artists included.
