Jane Powell was singing and dancing at an early age, was signed by MGM at age 14 and matured into a leading lady.  She was one of the last major musical stars at MGM before graduating to a career on stage and television.  Known for her lyric coloratura voice, Powell’s singing is instantly recognizable and her films remain highly entertaining. Join us as we reminisce and recall one of the brightest lights of movie musicals.
