Program Description

Description

From a humble childhood to a career as a popular artist’s model, Suzanne Valadon defied the odds to become a successful, self taught painter. She exhibited at the French Salon breaking new ground with her unapologetic portraits and nudes. This lecture will discuss her life and works. Her art will be on display at the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia through January 9, 2022.

If attending in person, masks are required.

The link for the Zoom Meeting will be sent in an email.
