Description

For over a century the Wyeth family has been recognized for creating captivating works of art. The Wyeth tradition and the Brandywine School are among the most enduring and celebrated legacies in all of American art. This lecture will look at works by N.C. Wyeth (1882-1945), and his three children artists. Most notable were his youngest son Andrew (1917-2009), an important realist painter, famous for Christina’s World and The Helga Paintings, and Andrew’s son Jamie (1946-) who created portraits of Andy Warhol, John F. Kennedy, Rudolf Nureyev and more.

If attending in person, masks are required.
