Exemptions Workshop presented by Nassau County Executive Laura Curran in partnership with Legislator Arnold Drucker

Staff from the Department of Assessment Office of Operations will assist homeowners who would like to file for Veterans, Senior  Citizen, Cold War Veterans, Volunteer Firefighters and Ambulance Workers, Limited Income Disability and Home Improvement exemptions. Enhanced STAR applications for first-time filers will only be accepted for homeowners who were enrolled in the STAR Program prior to January 2, 2015.  If  filing, you are encouraged to bring copies of your 2018 Federal and State Income Tax Forms, Driver’s License and any other pertinent documentation with you.
