Take & Make Operation Gratitude Paracord Lanyards

January/February 2023

Stop by the library any time during the months of January & February and pick up a kit with everything you need to make 3 paracord lanyards for Operation Gratitude. Included will be instructions and a video to help you make the lanyards at home.

Return the completed lanyards to the library no later than March 1, 2023 to receive a certificate for 1 hour of community service credit.

No registration required.

All completed lanyards will be sent to Operation Gratitude by the JPL.


Virtual Teen Advisory Board Meetings

Do you want to get involved and help with planning future Teen programs and book purchases here at the Jericho Library? Join our Teen Advisory Board! We will meet once per month to talk about these things and more. Participants will earn 1 hour of community service credit for each meeting attended.

Pop-Up Card Workshop

Tuesday, February 7 @ 7 PM

Brighten someone's day by making colorful pop-up greeting cards that will be delivered to a local hospital. Participants will earn 1 hour of community service credit.


Ongoing Community Service Opportunity

Teen Book Reviews

Read teen books, then write reviews by filling out our online form. Ebooks, audiobooks, fiction, non-fiction, and graphic novels are all acceptable formats. Earn 2 hours of community service per book reviewed, limited to 3 books per month.

Community service certificates will be emailed out at the beginning of each month for the previous month’s reviews.
