Art Lecture: Andy Warhol

The Whitney Museum is planning the city’s first Andy Warhol retrospective in nearly 30 years.  It promises to make you reconsider much of what you thought and understood about America’s favorite Pop artist.  Warhol presaged the era of social media and self promotion and tapped into the cultural zeitgeist that is a commonplace reality in our era.  This lecture showcases the Pop artists and Pop artworks circa 1958 to 1970.
