Description
Directed by Danish filmmaker Bille August and based on real World War II events, the film stars Liu Yifei and Emile Hirsch. After a U.S. bombing mission ordered by President Roosevelt, Captain Jack Turner is forced to land in China, where Yingzi and her daughter risk their lives to rescue him. The film highlights acts of courage and humanity amid the devastation of war.
