Description
Betty Grable was one of Hollywood’s most popular actresses during the 1940s. Her famous pin-up pose during World War II adorned barracks all around the world, and she became the highest-paid actress in Hollywood. She was famous for her “million dollar legs,” and acknowledged “there are two reasons why I am successful in show business and I am standing on both of them.” Her film popularity continued until musicals declined in the 1950’s, when she focused on the stage and night clubs. Her films are highly entertaining, and Grable remains a shining example of a true star.
