Program Description

Explore the often "ick-inducing" methods of how a human was transformed into a proper Egyptian mummy, step by step. We explore the associated Egyptian gods, tomb materials, animal mummies and view actual human mummies!

(Please note: Actual images of mummies may be shown, but with a warning ahead of time.)

If you would like to make your own animal mummy, please have nearby:

  • A small stuffed animal
  • Roll of toilet paper
  • Tape
  • Black marker
