Andrew Wyeth is one of America’s distinguished painters. His art is rich and diverse, seemingly tranquil yet vibrates eerily with death, secrecy and sensuality. This illustrated lecture looks at the watercolor paintings and meticulous egg temperas of Wyeth’s world with the rolling hills of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania and the rugged coast of Cushing, Maine, Wyeth’s intimate family and his immediate neighbors.
The public is invited to attend the monthly meeting of the Library Board of Trustees.
