Description:

Diego Rivera's Pan American Unity is a mural painted by Mexican artist and muralist Diego Rivera for the Art in Action exhibition at Treasure Island's Golden Gate International (GGIE) in San Francisco, CA in 1940. It was the centerpiece of the exhibit, which featured many artists engaged in creating works while the public watched. The mural, ten panels arraned in five sections, relate to Rivera's firmly held belief that multicultural artistic expression will form into a unified cultural entity regardless of individual points of origin.
