Program Description


Use the free web-based program Thunkable to create a Magic 8 ball app to use on your own phone! Thunkable utilizes block code (Scratch) to simplify coding principles and bring coding to everyone.

Participants wil be able to develop apps on their own and get a basic understanding of the Java programming language structure as they learn to use the program.

Materials needed:

  • Lapttop or computer with internet access
  • Mouse with scroll wheel
  • Phone (Android or IPhone)

When using a PC, you will need to download the software before the program begins. When using a mobile device, please download the Zoom app on your device and create your own Zoom account for easiest convenience.
