Description

Did you know that the name Velociraptor literally means speedy thief? We'll take a look at some of the more popular dinosaurs, determine what their names mean then take some of the most outstanding characteristics of our favorite dinosaurs to create a hybrid dinosaur.

Materials needed to build a dinosaur:

  • 2-3 sheets of construction paper or card stock
  • Scissors
  • Duct Tape
  • Glue stick
  • Colored pencils or markers

Gather materials you have readily available at home which you think you may be able to use to build a dinosaur. Here are some ideas: newspapers, cardboard from a cereal box, paper towel tubes.
